A Day in the Life of Claudia

I go to P.S.9.  That is near Central Park.  Central Park is a big park where you can get lost if you don’t know the way.  The American Museum of Natural History is also near Central Park.  On the other side of Central Park is the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a place that is huge, except if you get lost in there it will be a little easier to get out.  There’s also a Yankee Stadium, which is where the Yankees play.  That’s a little farther away but it’s not hard to get to.  What’s hard to get to, (unless you have your own boat) is the Statue of Liberty because it’s in a big river called the Hudson River and you should take the ferry from Manhattan that says “Statue of Liberty” and “Ellis Island” take that ferry until you see a big green lady with a book and a torch.  Then get off and go inside the lady and go up into the lady and see New York City below you.  When you get back from the Statue of Liberty there’s lots of fun things to do in New York like you can go to restaurants, candy shops, bagel shops, pastry shops, bakery shops and more! You can do lots of fun things because there’s stuff like fairs and parties and stuff.  Also if you don’t live in New York City, but you want to stay for a couple of days you can stay in hotels, and a really famous one is The Plaza Hotel, and that is where Eloise lived.  There are also many other famous places like Broadway, also lots of famous kids movies like Spy Kids.  So if you come to New York now, you’ll know what to do.
